Polo Al Marsa

To launch Polo AlMarsa at Old Doha Port, fischerAppelt transformed a working public pier into a premium polo arena, creating a destination experience that fused elite sport with hospitality and a strong spectator journey. With minimal fixed infrastructure, the venue was designed as a complete temporary ecosystem rather than a “dressed” location.

The project encompassed access control, viewing and hospitality zones with clear sightlines, branding across key touchpoints, and the full technical backbone to elevate the atmosphere. Equine welfare and safety were embedded as non-negotiables in both layout and daily procedures, so the event could scale without compromising control.

Operational excellence was critical in a complex public environment, managing fluctuating volumes linked to cruise ship arrivals through access choreography, VIP routing, stewarding, and real-time stakeholder coordination on site, setting a scalable blueprint for future editions while protecting premium standards throughout delivery.
