PUMA Shop Experience

Having won the pitch, Fork was commissioned by PUMA to realign the online shopping experience for the popular sports lifestyle brand. From site structure and navigation to visual design and user interaction, our responsibilities were both demanding and exciting.

OBJECTIVE
Put simply, we were tasked with increasing turnover, pardon!, turning PUMA's existing shopping solution upside down. We created an online store design, placing greater emphasis on branding, usability and ultimately turnover. And all of this at an international level!

SOLUTION
Introducing navigation fly-out panels, our design provided visitors with quick shortcuts to relevant products. Campaign visuals and artworks were maximised in layouts to achieve a more atmospheric approach, moving away from the classic "product only" solution. Almost like a funnel, the site design gradually refines the entire collection into a concentrated view of one focus product. The loop is then closed with a slick and intuitive checkout process. With a tidy product detail view, the new design offers a no nonsense approach in providing visitors with the info they want.

RESULTS
In two shakes of a lamb's tail we delivered an innovative design complimenting PUMA's vision of fusing the creative influences of sport, lifestyle and fashion. It's too early to say if it's had an effect on turnover, but we remain confident.
